CNA or prior caregiving experience is a plus — but not required.
What You’ll Do
As a caregiver, you’ll provide both practical support and meaningful companionship.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
- Helping with mobility and safe transfers
- Meal preparation and nutritional support
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
- Documenting care using our easy-to-use AxisCare app
- Following all safety and infection-control policies
âś… Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Responsible, mature, and dependable
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks)
- Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks)
- Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred — not required
