Assisting Hands Home Care - NE San Antonio provides non-medical, in-home care for seniors, adults with disabilities, and individuals needing post-operative support. Our licensed, bonded, and trained caregivers offer personalized services including companionship, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and 24/7 care. We are dedicated to assisting our clients in a spirit of concern for their welfare, helping them maintain dignity and independence, and ensuring quality of life.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to deliver compassionate, tailored care that respects the individual’s preferences and needs. You will work on-site in the New Braunfels area, providing much-needed assistance to our clients each day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation with clients.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to client dietary needs and preferences.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Support clients with mobility and exercise, ensuring safety while promoting independence.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with elderly and disabled clients.
• Previous experience in a caregiving role or similar environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, in English, with clients, families, and team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Bonus If You:

• Have CPR and First Aid certification.
• Are proficient in additional languages.
• Have experience with specialized care, such as post-operative or dementia care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position available to work on weekdays and weekends.

We service New Braunfels, Canyon Lakes, Northern San Antonio and surrounding communities
