Job Summary
We are specifically looking for a Vietnamese speaking worker who is fluent in both Vietnamese and English. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare a variety of Asian-style meals, assist with light housekeeping tasks, and support community outings. This role requires a compassionate and reliable individual who can help maintain comfort, safety, and cultural familiarity while encouraging independence and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide communication support in both Vietnamese and English
- Prepare culturally familiar Asian-style meals
- Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning, organizing, and laundry
- Support the individual during community outings, appointments, and activities
- Promote safety, comfort, and independence at home and in the community
- Offer companionship and culturally appropriate engagement
- Follow care instructions and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Ensure a respectful, patient, and professional approach at all times
Qualifications
- Must be Vietnamese-speaking; bilingual in Vietnamese and English required
- Experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field preferred
- Ability to prepare Asian-style meals and follow dietary preferences
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist with light housekeeping and community activities
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism, patience, and cultural sensitivity
Salary : $18 - $22
