Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their independence. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship, making a positive impact on their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility as required.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary, reporting any changes in health status to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Administer first aid and CPR when needed, ensuring the safety of clients at all times.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or as a caregiver is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A caring attitude and commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients.
