Role Description
The Caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. Additional responsibilities include encouraging clients' independence, monitoring health, ensuring their safety within their home environment, and reporting any notable changes in their condition to appropriate team members. This role requires exceptional empathy and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and their families.
Qualifications
- Experience and skills in providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Basic skills in meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients, families, and team members
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
- Attention to detail and ability to monitor clients’ health and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Prior caregiving experience or background in healthcare is a plus
