Assisting Hands - Gulf Coast is seeking compassionate, dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team in North Port, FL! Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation for each client visit
- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all safety protocols
Requirements:
- Valid HHA certification or CNA license in the state of Florida
- Prior experience in home health, personal care, or a clinical setting preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Venice, FL area
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality care
