Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide exceptional non-medical support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. Duties
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility for elderly and disabled clients
- Provide companionship and conversation to support clients' emotional well-being
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping to help maintain a safe, comfortable home
- Provide medication reminders to support clients' health routines
- Assist with mobility and provide transportation to appointments or errands as needed
- Support total care management, coordinating with families and care teams as needed
- Follow reporting protocols by documenting and reporting any concerns related to client safety or well-being
Experience
- Prior caregiving experience preferred (home health, assisted living, rehab, or nursing home settings all welcome)
- Demonstrated experience assisting seniors or individuals with disabilities with daily living activities
- Knowledge of non-medical home care best practices and person-centered care principles
- Familiarity with supporting individuals with disabilities and implementing inclusive care strategies
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Ability to build genuine trust and rapport with clients and their families
- Understanding of reporting protocols related to client safety and protection
- Must pass a background check
