Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and surface cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety.
- Manage outdoor work tasks including outdoor cleaning and light maintenance as needed to keep exterior areas tidy.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences to ensure satisfaction.
- Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment, and detergents.
- Strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform floor cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning and floor care techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday.
- Customer service orientation with effective client communication skills.
- Experience in laundry operations combined with knowledge of custodial practices.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged standing or walking.
