Position Summary
Inn at Northwood Village is looking for a dependable Dietary Cook to prepare meals for our residents. The Cook is responsible for preparing quality meals while following menus and dietary guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu.
- Follow recipes and portion sizes.
- Prepare special diets and follow allergy instructions.
- Check and record food temperatures.
- Store and label food properly.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
- Assist with dishes and kitchen cleanup.
- Work with the dietary team to ensure meals are ready on time.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.
- Able to follow recipes and directions.
- Dependable and responsible.
- Works well with others.
- Good attention to detail.
- Enjoys working with seniors.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
