What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Director - Assisted Living position at Assisted Living at Standifer Place?

Job Functions:

Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and tasks as scheduled.
Assist with all repairs, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested.
Complete work requests accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.
Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to your supervisor as soon as possible.
Ensure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
Assuring Resident Safety

Be a high school graduate or its equivalent and some knowledge of maintenance in a healthcare setting
Embrace the standards, values, and beliefs of the organization
Possess ability to follow oral and written instructions
Be capable of maintaining effective working relationships with residents, family members, department heads, and fellow associates
2 years relevant experience
