A busy and growing Home Care Agency is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our office team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in home care or healthcare and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding
- Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and documentation
- Process verifications, certifications, and compliance requirements
- Support recruitment efforts and coordinate interviews
- Assist with policy implementation and HR reporting
Requirements:
- Proven HR experience (home care or healthcare preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a busy office
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; HR systems experience a plus
