Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAYAs a Legislative Affairs and Compliance Program Manager, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
- Leading and managing legislative affairs activities, including OMB Circular A-19 clearance, coordinating the preparation, review, and submission of legislative proposals and agency views to ensure alignment with Departmental priorities
- Administering the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program, including review of complex requests, appeals, and litigation-related matters to ensure compliant and timely responses.
- Leading the ethics program, managing financial disclosure processes, providing standards of conduct guidance, and coordinating ethics training in accordance with federal requirements.
- Directing the records management program, ensuring compliance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requirements and federal records policies.
- Providing senior-level program management and policy coordination across legislative and compliance functions, analyzing and improving internal processes to enhance operational efficiency; develops and delivers executive-level briefings, reports, and performance analyses to inform leadership decision-making and strengthen program effectiveness.
