Assist Services is holding open interviews for Traffic Flagger positions.

Interviews will be on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, from 9a-1p at the Holiday Inn located at 1515 Johnson Ave., Bridgeport, WV 26330.

Assist Services has immediate openings for Construction Flaggers in the Clarksburg area. ASL works in all phases of Traffic Control and flagging for roadway utility work.

As a Flagger, you will be setting up work zones along the roadway, per MUTCD Standards, and controlling the flow of traffic to ensure a safe work zone for our customers.

*All work is performed from company vehicles*

*All equipment, trainings, and PPE provided*

No experience is required but our customers have strict guidelines and safety requirements, and you must be willing and able to learn.

Daily Job Responsibilities

• Safely set up road signs, traffic cones, and/or any other equipment to direct traffic around the work area.
• Control oncoming traffic with signs to ensure the road crews are able to operate safely.
• Be knowledgeable of the surrounding roads, so oncoming traffic could be further directed, if they were to stop and ask.
• Communicate with crew members over radios, through hand signals, or flags.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of those on the roadways.
  
  

Candidates Must Be Able To

• Work 8 – 12-hour shift
• Travel out of state for days at a time
• Be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally)
• Be outside in weather elements for extended periods of time
• Have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (NO DUI’s or excessive points)
• Pass a standard criminal background check, work verification check, 10-panel drug screen, and fit for duty physical
