Intake Coordinator - Infusion Clinic

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our Infusion Clinic team in El Paso, TX. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient intake processes, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from referral to treatment initiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for new patient referrals and inquiries.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical records.
• Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and infusion treatments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to facilitate timely care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with prior authorizations and insurance verifications as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care coordination.
• Address patient questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in infusion or outpatient clinics.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and prior authorization procedures is a plus.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Work Environment

This position is based in our Infusion Clinic located in El Paso, TX. The Intake Coordinator will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care and clinic operations.
