What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Worker - Enrichment Specialist position at Assignment TBA?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Facilitate learning opportunities for advanced/gifted learners
- Create/design lessons meant to foster critical/creative thinking
- Manage small group learning environments and/or support extended learning opportunities within the classroom setting, as designated by building principal.
- Follow assigned schedule implemented by campus leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Recommendation from a District department or campus. Must have met requirements for hire for the selected position.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from recognized, accredited college or university preferred for tutors and/or professional positions.
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification
- Minimum of 30 hours of professional learning in the area of Gifted/Talented education.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.
- Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a temporary assignment. The length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs.

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Exposure to working inside and outside (moderate exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather), moderate exposure to noise, and moderate exposure to extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
