What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Assiduous Home Care?
Hiring for a client Monday- Friday 8:00pm - 11:30 pm
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Non-Skilled Caregiver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing care and support to others, has excellent interpersonal skills, and can work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including but not limited to, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable home environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, or leisure activities as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs to the supervising nurse or coordinator.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- A compassionate and caring demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
- Smartphone.
