Job Description: We are looking for a Business Development Analyst for our Mergers & Acquisitions team. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic energetic self-starter, driven to perform, results-oriented and enjoys being on the phone. The position requires excellent social skills, a high level of organization, and being detail oriented. You should be a collaborative individual who can work easily with a team. As an important member of our M&A team, you will drive our acquisition activities by sourcing and executing acquisitions of vertical-market-software companies by: Creatively identifying vertical market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria and specific metrics Driving engagement of shareholders and financial advisors in meaningful dialogue on corporate growth and shareholder liquidity Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts Developing and conducting prospecting campaigns through email, outbound calling and in-person meetings Gathering, analyzing, and presenting acquisition target information to senior M&A team members Assist the later stages of the M&A process as appropriate: performing market research, creating company presentations, drafting letters of intent, conducting due diligence You will have an opportunity to add value through the entire M&A cycle, working with a driven, high-energy M&A team and senior leaders within our organization.
