Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our AssetWorks FleetFocus Engineering team. This role will support our core applications and contribute to building and enhancing enterprise software using Angular (TypeScript) on the front end and C#/.NET on the back end. This position will require the use of AI development tools as part of the core development workflow. You will leverage tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code and Amazon Kiro to generate and validate code, accelerate delivery and support refactoring while not compromising a high bar for code quality, security, and long-term maintainability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Angular, C#/.NET, familiarity with REST APIs, and working knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle. This is an exciting opportunity to grow as an engineer on a collaborative team, work on real customer-facing features, and implement best practices for building software at enterprise scale. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain full-stack features using Angular and C#/.NET Collaborate with product and engineering teammates to understand requirements and implement technical solutions Utilize AI coding assistants daily to accelerate all these responsibilities while ensuring high quality and maintainability Review all AI generated code thoroughly for adherence to best practices and high quality standards Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services Develop and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality, reliability, and prevent regressions Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and database logic to support application functionality and ensure high performance across SQL Server and Oracle environments Maintain clear and comprehensive developer documentation Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and consistency Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 2 years of professional software development experience Demonstrated effective use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Kiro, ChatGPT, etc.) to support development and learning Experience developing with C# and .NET Experience developing with Angular and TypeScript Ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated code using testing, debugging, and code review feedback Familiarity with REST APIs (building or consuming APIs, JSON, authentication) Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle) Experience with automated testing practices (unit, integration and end-to-end) Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments CI/CD experience and familiarity with modern delivery pipelines Azure cloud exposure (App Services, Functions, SQL Database, etc.) Worker Type: Festanstellung Number of Openings Available: 1 Your community is comprised of many moving parts.
