About Us
We’re a growing retail consultancy company with expertise in real estate strategy, design and development, store planning and construction, and lease management. For the last 15 years, we have been developing a SaaS product in the real estate lifecycle management space used by clients for strategy, deal negotiation, and construction management. Our software development team is looking for a Manager of Software Development who’s excited to help us stretch our development to the next level.
What You’ll Do
- Help define and enforce coding standards and development best practices
- Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Mentor junior developers and support their technical growth
- Collaborate with the team to improve our testing, deployment, and code review processes
- Take ownership of key projects and guide them from planning through deployment
- Work closely with the product manager and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Our Tech Stack
- Backend: Python, Flask, MySQL
- Frontend: JavaScript, Backbone.js, Bootstrap UI
- Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, RDS, S3), Ubuntu, Apache
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of professional software development experience
- Experienced quality control leader
- Strong experience with Python and backend development
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Experience mentoring developers and leading small teams
- Strong understanding of DevOps and testing practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
