Stamford, CT Full Time
POSTED ON 8/30/2026

Help Successful Families Build Better Financial Futures

At Asset Management Group, we help individuals and families make confident financial decisions through thoughtful financial planning and investment management.

We're looking for an experienced financial-services professional who is organized, curious, optimistic, and enjoys learning how things work.

Prior experience working in a financial planning firm, Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), wealth management firm, or risk management firm is required.

This position begins with an important administrative foundation. Before interacting extensively with clients, you'll learn our systems, processes, standards, and approach to client service. As you demonstrate knowledge, judgment, and confidence, your responsibilities can expand into client relationships, financial planning support, and other areas that match your interests and abilities.

We believe the best client service begins with understanding the details behind it.

About You

You enjoy bringing order to complexity, learning new things, and becoming better at what you do.

You're someone who:

  • Notices details and follows through
  • Asks thoughtful questions
  • Communicates professionally and warmly
  • Remains positive when priorities change
  • Enjoys helping others
  • Takes pride in accuracy and organization
  • Appreciates being part of a supportive, collaborative team
  • Brings optimism and positive energy to the workplace

We value people who are dependable, curious, kind, and interested in continuing to grow professionally.

What You'll Learn and Do

You'll begin by learning how our firm operates and how we serve clients. Initial responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and processing account paperwork
  • Maintaining client records and CRM workflows
  • Processing transfers and service requests
  • Organizing financial planning information
  • Monitoring deadlines and follow-up
  • Learning our custodial and financial planning systems
  • Supporting Financial Planners and other team members
  • Helping improve administrative processes and efficiency

As your knowledge and experience grow, you'll have opportunities for greater client interaction and expanded responsibilities.

Our Culture

We're professional without being formal.

We work hard, support one another, share ideas, celebrate successes, and laugh together. We believe people do their best work when they enjoy coming to work and feel that their contributions matter.

Kindness and competence belong together. So do professionalism and personality.

If you smile easily, enjoy learning, take pride in doing things well, and appreciate being part of a collaborative team, you'll likely feel at home here.

Growth Comes With Knowledge

We believe responsibility should grow along with knowledge and experience.

You'll first learn how we do things and why we do them. As you master the position, opportunities may develop in client relationship management, operations, paraplanning, CFP® certification, and financial planning.

We support continuing education and professional development and want the person we hire to continue learning and growing throughout their career.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a financial planning firm, RIA, wealth management firm, or risk management firm is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new concepts and technology quickly
  • Professional and polished when interacting with others
  • Dependable with strong follow-through
  • Positive, collaborative, client-focused attitude

Finding the Right Person Matters to Us

We've met many talented people. We're simply looking for someone whose experience, abilities, personality, and values genuinely complement our team.

We're willing to be patient because we hope the person we hire will build a long and rewarding career with us.

If this sounds like an environment where you would enjoy working, learning, and growing, we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
