Family Therapy Specialist

Assessment and Treatment Alternatives
Philadelphia, PA Full Time
POSTED ON 9/22/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/19/2027

Assessment & Treatment Alternatives, Inc. (ATA), a licensed outpatient behavioral health agency in Philadelphia, seeks a full-time licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, or licensed psychologist) to direct our new Family Therapeutic Visitation program, a court-integrated clinical service funded by the Philadelphia Department of Human Services. The Program Director provides direct clinical services to families in active dependency proceedings — facilitating therapeutic parent-child visits, conducting attachment and parenting capacity assessments, delivering trauma-focused individual and dyadic intervention, and preparing formal reports and testimony for Family Court. The Director leads a two-person clinical team alongside a full-time case manager and serves as the program's primary clinical liaison to the Department of Human Services and the Court, under the supervision of ATA's Clinical Director.

The ideal candidate holds an active Pennsylvania clinical license, has training and experience in trauma-informed family therapy, attachment-based intervention (e.g., CPP, Theraplay-informed approaches, TF-CBT), and child welfare practice, and is comfortable with structured clinical documentation and courtroom testimony. Experience with the Philadelphia dependency system is strongly preferred. Competitive salary and benefits; services delivered on-site in ATA's licensed outpatient facility
