What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Assessment/Research/Evaluation position at ASSESS/RESEARCH/EVALUATION?
REQUIRED:
- Master's Degree;
- Mid-Management or Principal Certificate
- Thorough knowledge of Excel, Access or SPSS for data analysis and technical ability to make independent judgments related to research and evaluation
- Experience with statistical computing and statistical programming.
- Knowledge of state requried student assessments and state/federal accountability.
PREFERRED
- Database skills to include programming in Microsoft SQL, VBA
- Programming experience and ability to learn and work with new software
- Experience in multiple aspects of student assessment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the Coordinator includes but is not limited to:
• Select/design instruments and procedures for data collection,
• Analyze and summarize data into formal reports for TEA, district and campus administration and personnel as needed,
• Work with district and campus personnel to use evaluation findings and analyze district and campus outcome trends in performance,
• Complete required data reports and evaluations,
• Develop and provide training and presentations on data collection and analysis,
• Will provide, through comprehensive program evaluation, accurate
and timely data to contribute to campus and district improvement
• Will conduct evaluations to assist the district with pertinent information
regarding campus improvement and to fulfill the federal and state
requirements related to the district.
• Understand and follow Federal and State guidelines used for accountability and performance measures,
• Any other duties assigned by the department administrator.
