As a Materials Estimator, you will step into a high-visibility role where you will learn the ins and outs of our business, starting by providing critical support in the creation of price quotes for our customers’ complex assembly projects. We will provide the training and mentorship—you provide the drive, the strong organizational skills, and the eagerness to learn.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate & Learn: Work side-by-side with senior team members to dissect customer requirements, extracting critical data from technical drawings and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Build the Foundation: Assist in gathering and analyzing the necessary information to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for materials and labor.
- Take Ownership: Help prepare, review, and ultimately own the quality of proposal quotes before they are sent to our customers, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 1 years of experience navigating a professional office environment.
- Mindset: A true growth mindset. You are an analytical thinker who is eager to tackle the quoting process in the ever-changing electronics industry.
- Execution: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a proven track record of strong problem-solving.
- Technical Chops: Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite; you should feel very comfortable navigating and building in Excel.
- Team Fit: A positive, “can-do” attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a tight-knit team.
- Education: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
