Are you a skilled machinist with a passion for precision and continuous improvement? Join our team as a CNC Advanced Machinist and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
As a vital member of our production team, you’ll be responsible for setting up and adjusting a variety of machines to ensure optimal performance. Your day-to-day will include:
- Setting up and operating lathes, cutters, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and CNC machines
- Aligning and positioning tools, gears, cams, and templates to meet exact specifications
- Performing test cycles to verify timing, clearance, and tolerances
- Troubleshooting and resolving machine setup issues
- Making program edits and adjustments directly on CNC machines
- Reading blueprints and layouts to plan work sequences and tooling
- Training and mentoring team members as needed
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives like kaizen and cycle time reduction.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in CNC machine setup (preferred)
- Strong understanding of machine changeovers and adjustments
- Familiarity with coolant and cutting oils
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows)
- Experience with CNC machines; knowledge of Fanuc G & M codes is a plus
