- Partner with Business Development Directors and Regional Sales Managers to define account-specific strategies and uncover opportunities in key verticals: hospitality, gaming, government, multifamily, data centers, retail, and healthcare.
- Identify buyer personas and decision-makers within target accounts, tailoring campaigns to address industry-specific pain points and priorities.
- Develop and execute multi-channel ABM campaigns—including email, paid media, content syndication, direct mail, events, and personalized outreach—to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure seamless handoffs of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and alignment on definitions of success.
- Track, measure, and optimize ABM initiatives using data-driven insights to continuously improve lead quality and conversion.
- Leverage marketing technology and tools (Campaign monitor, HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Salesforce, etc.) to execute campaigns with precision.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring messaging resonates with the unique challenges of each vertical market.
- Continuously research and analyze target industries to refine account segmentation and stay ahead of market trends.
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on account-based marketing or demand generation.
- A proven track record of building and executing ABM programs that generate qualified leads and support revenue growth.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with Sales leaders to align strategy and outcomes.
- Deep understanding of buyer journey mapping and the nuances of industry-specific marketing (hospitality, gaming, government, multifamily, data centers, retail, healthcare).
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. You know how to distill complex value propositions into targeted messaging.
- A data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics, reporting, and ROI measurement.
- Comfort working with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems; ability to dig into tools and data without waiting on others.
- The strategic thinking to set direction, coupled with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute.

What a day in the life of might look like for you…
As the Account Based Marketing Specialist, your day will be a balance of strategy, collaboration, and execution. A typical day may include:
- Meeting with Business Development Directors and Regional Sales Managers to align target accounts, review campaign performance, and discuss upcoming opportunities.
- Researching industry trends and buyer personas to refine messaging and identify the best channels to reach decision makers in hospitality, gaming, government, multifamily, data centers, retail, and healthcare.
- Building and executing multi-channel campaigns that may include email, digital advertising, direct mail, or event marketing tailored to specific accounts.
- Monitoring campaign analytics to evaluate engagement, lead quality, and conversion, followed by adjusting tactics where necessary.
- Collaborating with internal marketing colleagues on content creation to ensure materials reflect the unique needs of each vertical market.
- Preparing reports and insights for leadership and sales partners to demonstrate marketing impact on pipeline development and lead quality.
- Taking time to plan and prioritize projects, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to new business needs or opportunities that arise.
