Preventative Maintenance Technician
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician. This position will be responsible for the inspection of equipment and components to ensure they are in ready to use condition. Maintain grease/oil levels and change consumable items on equipment. Completes tasks issued through CMMS work order system. Assists Maintenance Technician with repairs. This will be a weekend shift position; Friday - Sunday, 5:00am - 5:30pm.
What you will be doing:
Assists in the development of an effective equipment planned maintenance & spare parts program capable of meeting the equipment uptime goals of the departments.
Completes all work and proper documents pertaining to planned maintenance tasks related to preventative maintenance of all mechanical and electromechanical equipment throughout the plant.
Maintains logs and records of spare parts used for both scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance activities.
Works with Inventory Clerk to ensure proper inventory levels are being kept for all consumable items for equipment.
Assists in reviewing and modifying procedures for maintenance pertaining to planned maintenance & spare parts.
The skills and experience you need:
High school or equivalent
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), some knowledge of metric desirable.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of the practices, procedures, tools, equipment and materials utilized in the installation, repair and periodic maintenance of mechanical and electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction and assembly drawings, and technical manuals.
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a complex environment.
Valid OK driver's license.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to organize, document and write detailed reports.
Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications. Experience with Word and Excel preferred.
Must be motivated, self-directed, and willing to work in a team environment.
