For Shipping:
· Receive orders for picking and loading
· Pick stock material from warehouse as required by customer order.
· Bundle cartons, packages and label material as necessary and move to
staging area
· Inspects incoming material for quality and accuracy
· Moves incoming material into proper storage areas
· Plans and builds necessary blocking to ensure material is secure in trailer
· Uses necessary material handling equipment (crane, forklift, hand truck, power
ox, banding equipment, yard tractor, etc.) to accomplish tasks
However, it is to be noted that this position is NOT strictly forklift, but more of a warehouse position. You will likely spend 10% to 15% of your time on a forklift.
