What are the responsibilities and job description for the VRC Loader position at ASSA ABLOY Group and Careers?
VRC loader
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a VRC Loader. This position will be responsible for safety loading parts onto a moving production line. This is a 1st shift position, Monday - Thursday, 4:00am - 2:30pm.
What you will be doing:
- Checks for incoming materials so production is not stalled.
- Ensures work area is clean performs necessary housekeeping.
- Have basic math skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Needs to have flexibility with production hours.
- Must be able to recognize parts that do not meet specifications.
- Able to stand at work station for a long period of time.
- Required to lift up to approximately 40 pounds.
- Must be able to reject bad materials that do not meet quality standards.
- Ability to follow and adhere to the dress code.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
- Sustain repetitive motions using arms and hands.
The skills and experience you need:
High school or equivalent
- 6 months experience in manufacturing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
- Must have strong verbal communication skills.
- Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
- Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
- Able to work side by side with other Loaders.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
- Good understanding of quality control.
