Travel Administrator

JOB SUMMARY

The Travel Administrator provides administrative support to include billeting, flight booking, and processing reports as needed. They will effectively interface with the managers, clients, craft, and staff personnel to provide support as needed to ensure smooth travel for company team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Update and maintain department filing system, records, and files.
• Respond to staff requests for administrative support as needed.
• Coordinate all flights for craft and staff personnel and maintain work schedules.
• Initiate and follow through to completion on a variety of projects.
• Maintain a strong understanding of company safety culture and the role it plays in the flow of work.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of reports.
• Follow general business protocols for phone, fax, scanning, and photo copying.
• Process expense reports as needed.
• Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
• Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
• Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 3 years of experience in a travel planner or administrative role
• Intermediate experience in MS Office Suite programs
• Must be able to multi-task and assess priorities
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in the oil and gas industry
• Prior experience working on the North Slope
• Previous billeting experience
• Experience working in Project Controls or Project Accounting
• Familiarity with Alaska O&G travel booking platforms
• Advanced in P6, Oracle, SAP
