Job Summary
We are seeking experienced professionals for our concrete crew teams for heavy civil and transportation construction. Positions include Form Work Carpenters and Concrete Finishers. Crew members will work together supporting structural and roadway concrete activities on GDOT projects. Form Work Carpenters
- Construct and install concrete forms for structural and roadway work
- Read construction drawings and layout formwork
- Install anchors, embeds, and reinforcing components as required
- Strip forms and prepare for reuse
- Maintain safe and organized work areas
- Tying rebar
Concrete Finishers
- Place, level, and finish concrete surfaces
- Operate finishing tools including screeds, floats, and trowels
- Ensure proper curing and surface finish standards
- Work closely with the foreman and carpenters during placement operations
- Tying rebar
Requirements and Education
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with concrete form carpentry, concrete finishing, or construction labor.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and jobsite instructions
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites
Preferred Requirements and Education
- Experience in heavy civil, roadway, or structural concrete construction
- Experience working on DOT or infrastructure projects
