Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of technical development experience with a focus on database management and custom application support.
- Experience with Zendesk APIs, JSON file integration, and Zendesk process customization.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation (Permanent Residency or US Citizenship is required).
- Maintain and replicate existing custom-built Zendesk processes to ensure continuity of operations. Interact with and integrate Zendesk APIs, including working with Zendesk JSON files.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Sustain existing Perl scripts critical to Zendesk operations, including implementing modifications or facilitating migration to alternative solutions.
- Preserve and update code bases in HTML, JavaScript, and ColdFusion that support web-based Zendesk monitoring tools.
- Maintain or enhance custom-built MS Access applications, including VBA code to pull and create data and documents from Zendesk and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with FCC stakeholders and contractor staff to modify, delete, or create new processes based on evolving requirements.
- Recommend, design, and implement modern technological solutions to replace legacy tools while ensuring mission continuity.
