Key Responsibilities
As the Quality Management (QM) Evaluator you will:
- Be responsible for all matters relating to program safety including:
- Interpret, recommend, and comply with environmental, health and safety regulations and/or company policies, performing safety inspections and correcting deficiencies.
- Perform job analysis, assess problem areas and execute corrective actions.
- Develop and provide training, cope, enhance services, and develop new Defense logistics capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience executing a safety program in a Department of War environment.
- A thorough understanding of Federal, State, and local regulations and Government Data Systems that include, but are not limited to:
- 29 CFR Occupational Safety and Health
- DLAI 4145.11 Storage and Handling of Hazardous Materials
- DLAI 4145.25 Storage and Handling of Liquified and Gaseous Compressed Gases
- DoDI 6050.5 DoD Hazard Communication Program with specific focus on Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management
- Hazardous Materials Information Resource Systems (HMIRS)-H2
- Critical thinking skills to conduct root cause analysis and developing corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
