ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management support for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking Information Manager to provide intermediate level support to a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis and evaluation of existing SMA data management tools, workflows, and applications to identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and improved mission assurance effectiveness
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Lists, to support the full lifecycle of SMA data collection, management, reporting, and analysis
- Upgrade SMA tools and processes, including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, user adoption, training, and documentation
- Collaborate with SMA practitioners, program managers, engineers, data stewards, and IT/cybersecurity personnel to architect, implement, and sustain solutions aligned with mission assurance priorities and evolving requirements
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across SMA applications, dashboards, automated workflows, and data integrations to ensure reliability and data integrity
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, and develop recommendations to integrate AI into SMA tools and data analysis methods, improving insight generation and decision support
- Develop and present technical briefings, dashboards, status reports, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership to enable informed, data-driven decision-making
- Ensure SMA data solutions comply with applicable NASA, GSFC, and federal data governance, records management, and information security requirements
- Must have the ability to balance multiple priorities and produce quality work efficiently.
- Ability to work on site during normal business hours.
- Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job. Some travel may be required.
- Bachelor degree and 4 years of professional experience or 7 years of experience in lieu of degree
