The General Construction Technician specializes in all types of repair, maintenance, building and remodeling. The GC technician must be able to work cohesively on a team as well as take the lead on projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Drywall Installation, repair, and finishing
- General Carpentry Rough and Finish
- Painting Interior and Exterior
- Installation of metal siding and roofs
- Installation of commercial doors, windows, and locks
- Installation of drop ceilings
- Concrete forming and finishing
- Flooring repair and installation
- Handyman, General Repair & Maintenance Work
- Knowledge of Federal and State Building Codes
- Material Management (inventory, tracking, ordering, etc.)
- Heavy equipment experience desired
- Plumbing and Electrical knowledge desired
- HVAC knowledge desired
- Team and Customer Relations
- Microsoft Office
- HS Diploma 8 years of experience
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
