ASRC Federal is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Analyst III to support an upcoming ATF contract located in Washington, DC.

Location: Onsite (99 NY Avenue)

Clearance: Public Trust (successfully completing a government investigation)

Responsibilities

• Developing analytical techniques to gain target information while supporting major complex multi-defendant investigations.
• Initiating requests to guide tasking and assist with collection management.
• Selecting, building, and developing query strategies against appropriate collection databases.
• Social media, deep and dark web searches and analysis.
• Open-source intelligence analysis.
• De-anonymizing individuals/suspects.
• Documenting and disseminating analytic findings.
• Using appropriate databases, geospatial data, and resources to manage customer relationships, including determining customer needs/requirements/expectations.
• Identifying intelligence gaps and assisting in the development of operational programs through regular review of message traffic, intelligence information, data analysis, and from other sources of information.
• Coordinating with intelligence research specialists and other team members to exchange information, resolve problems, eliminate duplication of effort, and coordinate multi-divisional activities.
• Preparing and presenting briefings on a variety of intelligence topics.
• Making recommendations for modifications and improvements for existing systems.
• Reviewing and evaluating incoming intelligence information to ensure it is complete and satisfies the necessary data requirement for input into established computer systems.
• Preparing and submitting weekly status reports, intelligence reports, report of investigation, and briefing/power point slides.
• Completing mandatory training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Intelligence Analysis
• Intelligence Reporting
• Experience working financial crimes and/or with FINCEN/OFAC
• Concept and use of virtual currency
• Navigating the Dark Web
• Deep and dark web searches
• Experience in Open-source intelligence (OSINT) analysis.
• Cyber Intelligence
