ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Mail Courier.

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Mail Courier.
DESCRIPTION:
- Transport mail from building 650 Shipping/Receiving for distribution around FLETC site.
- Operate FLETC Post Office counter during specific times.
- Sort and deliver USPS mail throughout the FLETC site.
- Weigh, meter and mail all Government and personal envelopes/packages.
- Account for all money used during postal process.
- Must always control and secure all mail items.
- Sort and place mail in staff and student mail pick up boxes.
- Dispense stamps and packaging materials.
- Check with warehouse specialists at building 650 twice during the morning and twice during the afternoon (phone call or stop in) for delivered mail items that need distributing.
- Track mail data and generate monthly mail report.
- Request assistance from the Student Support Manager when there is a heavy workload.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Must be familiar with Federal mail distribution regulations.
- Must have a valid SC issued REAL ID /Passport and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to push, pull and or lift 60 lbs. repeatedly while mounting/dismounting truck.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suits and Outlook.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm.
