Position Summary
The Warehouse Shipping Clerk processes finished goods for shipping. Verifies items to be shipped, stages product for pick-up and loads trucks. Ensuring correct products are shipped in correct quantities and on time.
The Warehouse Shipping Clerk must inspect product to be shipped with great attention to detail and be in good physical condition to lift and move heavy items. Ensures an efficient shipping process and promptly resolves any problems or discrepancies. Must function in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Keep work areas clean, including labels/stickers off floor.
- Keep and maintain all T’s and corners marked on the floor of warehouse.
- Use computer to enter records and transactions.
- Operate forklift with a valid forklift certification.
- Check the condition and safety of forklift before operating.
- Use computer to lookup product.
- Pull product using bar code scanners and pick tickets to stage for shipment. (Convert to packing list if authorized)
- Ship orders in an accurate and efficient manner to meet 100% on-time Delivery.
- Load trucks as required following all necessary shipping guidelines.
- Cross trained in warehouse receiving.
- Sort returnable packaging as and when required.
- Rotate stock as required to maintain FIFO (first in first out) method of inventory control.
- Cycle count inventory as requested.
- Do end of month counts on customer’s returnable packaging as required.
- May use stretch wrap machine to secure any items that could be damaged during transportation to customer or off-site warehouse.
