What You’ll Do
- Master the Code: Develop, program, and maintain advanced CMM programs for in-process inspections and tool approvals.
- Lead the Way: Manage gage approvals (Gage R&R, MSA) and mentor our Lab Inspectors to sharpen their skills.
- Innovate & Support: Collaborate directly with engineering to develop custom workholding and fixtures that ensure flawless measurement repeatability.
- Problem Solve: Investigate dimensional issues and partner with production teams to continuously enhance product quality.
- Ensure Excellence: Perform hands-on quality inspections on various plastic parts and components.
- Experience: 3 years of CMM programming and dimensional inspection experience, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Technical Savvy: Expert knowledge of QA/QC principles and a strong ability to interpret complex technical documents.
- The "Zeiss" Edge: Preference given to those with experience using Zeiss equipment and software.
- Leadership Traits: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and the leadership skills to guide a quality-focused team.
