Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Floor Care Specialist to join our Environmental Services team!
The floor care specialist is responsible for all floor maintenance and provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. Must be able to follow all applicable policies, procedures, schedules, disinfection and safety requirements.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period. PM/Night rotation (10:30am – 7:00am) and every 3rdweekend.
Experience/Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is beneficial.
- Previous experience in an environmental services department beneficial.
- Preferred knowledge of cleaning materials
- Demonstrates proficiency in operating numerous pieces of floor care equipment such as high-speed buffer, automatic scrubbing machine, carpet extractor and wet vacs.
- Possesses the ability to perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on floor care equipment.
- Possesses ability to perform routine manual cleaning tasks for an extended period.
