Aspirus Northland Orthopedics in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a highly motivated ATHLETIC TRAINER to join our ORTHOPEDIC CARE team!
As an Athletic Trainer, you will
- Provide comprehensive athletic training services to high school students.
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized care plans based on patient age, diagnosis, and goals.
- Support injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement in the school, at athletic events and in the community.
- Incorporate patient and family education into all phases of care.
- Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes according to established standards.
- Collaborate with our orthopedic and sports medicine team.
Schedule
- Full-Time or 1.0 FTE/80 hours every pay period
- Monday-Friday; weekends as needed based on sport schedule
- Day and evening hours
- Travel required
Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge of athletic training standards and practices is normally acquired through completion of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
- Post graduate education in an area of specialization and experience in general practice of athletic training with experience in area of specialization.
- Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer is beneficial.
- Current Wisconsin licensure to practice athletic training.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Current AED certification.
- Clinical Specialist certification is beneficial.
- Possesses a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
- Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required.
