Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking a SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST to join our team
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assists RN and physician during operative and invasive procedures
- Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments
- Ensures availability and condition of supplies.
- This position will work in the OR and Endoscopy.
HOURS: Full Time; 0.8 FTE or 64 hours per pay period. WEEKDAY, WEEKEND, AND HOLIDAY ON CALL REQUIRED.
Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of healthcare/patient care experience required.
- Former operating room surgical tech experience or a graduate of a surgical tech program strongly preferred.
- BLS certification preferred.
