Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking a RESIDENCY PROGRAM COORDINATOR to join our RESIDENCY team!The Residency Program Coordinator provides administrative support to the Aspirus Wausau Family Medicine Residency Program. The position provides critical external representation to incoming residents and facilitates the Program's recruitment season. The position collaborates with the Education Department to ensure fulfillment of Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education Program Requirements.
HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly
Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge of office procedures normally acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree in Health or Business Administration. A Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Three to five years of progressively responsible office coordination including one year in a healthcare organization desired.
- Experience with medical systems and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Computer literacy required relative to the software programs utilized at Aspirus as well as department specific program requirements.
- Is self-directed and displays good judgment with attention to detail. Possesses good organizational skills.
- Possesses critical thinking skills, good communication skills, the ability to prioritize, the ability to work independently, attention to accuracy and timeliness in all work products and related work experience to develop and enhance skills.
