Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Nursing and Patient Care skills, with a commitment to safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care.
- Candidates should possess Nursing Management experience, including staff supervision, workflow coordination, and support of quality and safety initiatives.
- Candidates should possess Medicine and Critical Care Medicine knowledge appropriate to the unit, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain) and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Several years of clinical nursing experience; prior supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead teams in fast-paced clinical environments.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or other relevant certifications preferred, depending on unit needs.
- Ability to work on-site in Stevens Point, WI, with flexibility for varied shifts as operationally required.
