Aspirus Health is seeking a flexible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) team in Wausau, Wisconsin.
This NP or PA will work with patients navigating a wide array of injuries or conditions, while they learn to prevent disability and preserve function.
OPPORTUNITY:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, no weekends
- Provide patient care in our Inpatient Rehab Unit and outpatient PM&R Clinic
- Perform daily inpatient rounding
- Track patient progress towards care goals
- Monitor and treat patient’s ongoing medical issues
- Work with physiatrists, and case managers on discharge plans
- Participate in admitting and discharging patients from inpatient rehab unit
- Follow-up with discharged inpatient rehab patients in the outpatient PM&R Clinic
- Collaborate within a great team environment that includes our PM&R team, Pain Management, Neurology, and Neurosurgery
