Aspirus Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospitalist team in Merrill, Wisconsin
Practice broad-spectrum Hospital Medicine in a supportive, community-focused environment with meaningful clinical autonomy and strong collegial support.
OPPORTUNITY:
- 7 days on/7 days off
- 12-hour shifts, mix of days and nights
- Average daily census
- Days: 10-12 patients
- Nights: 15-20 with cross coverage
- Typically 2-5 admissions per shift
- Overnight tele-hospitalist support
- 24/7 support telemedicine support including IM, ID, Neuro, Cardio, and Tele-Stroke
- Will provide coverage for open ICUs and for ICU level patients, and are members of the code team
- ED physician on site 24/7 and is available to respond and assist for codes and rapid response
- Expanding daytime physician team with the growth of our Aspirus Merrill Hospital Hospital Medicine program
- Epic EMR or documentation support
