Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an Electrician to join our team!
The Electrician installs, tests and repairs electrical components and power distribution circuits.
HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day/PM Rotation, occasional weekend.
Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Courses in blueprint reading, mathematics, communication, safety, schematic reading, physics and knowledge of electrical systems.
- An Associate/Technical School Degree in Industrial Electronics beneficial.
- State approved electrician apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Five years’ experience as an electrician with a background in industrial and commercial construction and maintenance necessary.
- Wisconsin Electrician license preferred.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.
- Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
