What are the responsibilities and job description for the VIDEO MONITOR TECHNICIAN position at Aspirus Health System?

We are seeking a Patient Monitor Technician in Wausau, Wisconsin at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Patient Monitor Technician maintains visual observation of the patient at all times and communicates with patient via video monitor system to help promote patient safety. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide the appropriate care to this patient population based on the patient's individualized care needs as delegated by the RN. Will be trained and have an understanding on the use of tele-sitter software program.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and skills necessary for this position normally obtained through completion of a high school diploma.
- Previous patient care experience or CNA licensure is preferred.
