Direct Support Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide essential care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, aging needs, or health challenges. In this vital role, you will support residents in their daily activities, promote independence, and foster a safe, engaging environment. Your dedication will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve, ensuring they receive respectful, personalized care in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity.
• Support indivual during community outings or activities to encourage social engagement and community integration.
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided,clients progress, and incident reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are required or must be obtained upon hire.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer’s), or memory care needs is desirable.
• Strong communication skills combined with patience and compassion for diverse populations.
• Must have strong documentation skills and acess to a computer for documentation.
• A valid driver’s license, transportation and auto insurance is required for community outings or transportation responsibilities. Schedule

• Monday-Friday 4pm-9pm
• Sat and Sunday 9am-9pm split shift is available

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
