Job Title: Server Engineer

Job Description:
Seeking an Industrial IT Server Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize Windows-based virtual environments within the Digital Enablement Platform (DEP). This role is fully onsite and requires direct customer support, collaboration with cybersecurity teams, and participation in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, patch, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments to ensure performance, security, and uptime.
• Manage virtualization platforms using VMware 7.0 and Nutanix (including bare-metal installs in air-gapped Dell environments).
• Support and troubleshoot Dell server hardware.
• Monitor performance and generate reports using SolarWinds or similar tools.
• Administer Active Directory (user/group management, DNS, access controls).
• Partner with internal teams and cybersecurity to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain detailed documentation (server configurations, procedures, best practices).
• Work on server-related projects, remote troubleshooting, and on-call responsibilities.

1. Strong Windows Server engineering - build, troubleshoot, patch, reconfigure, and perform forensic analysis.
2. Hands-on virtualization experience with VMware 7.0 and meaningful Nutanix exposure.
3. PowerShell scripting solid documentation skills.
