Role Overview
We are looking for 2 QA Automation Engineers to support the QA Lead on a high-visibility data migration project — moving from a legacy system to a new application. The focus is on Playwright, TypeScript, functional testing, API testing, and SQL-based data validation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for functional, integration, regression, and data migration testing
- Build and maintain automation scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
- Perform API testing — validate requests, responses, and end-to-end workflows
- Use SQL for backend validation, data reconciliation, and migration accuracy checks
- Validate data completeness, integrity, and transformation during migration from legacy to new system
- Log, track, triage, and retest defects to closure
- Coordinate with QA Lead, developers, product, and data teams throughout release cycles
- Provide clear test reporting, status updates, and risk communication
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in QA and test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
- Proven background in functional testing and API testing
- Strong SQL skills for backend and data validation
- Experience testing data migration projects from legacy systems to modern applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Houston 5 days a week
